Carilyn graduated from the University Of San Diego School Of Law in 2000. She began her legal practice with the Orange County District Attorneys office immediately after passing the California Bar exam in the fall of 2000, following two paid clerkships with the DAs office during law school. Her education included comparative constitutional law classes taught by Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
Since leaving the District Attorneys office in 2006 to relocate to the Carolinas, Carilyn is using the invaluable tools she gained as a prosecutor to represent her clients. She has been lead counsel in over 45 jury trials and practices regularly throughout North and South Carolina. Carilyn is an active member of the North Carolina Bar, and the South Carolina Bar, and admitted to practice in Federal Court, Western District of North Carolina.
