Kevin is a husband, father, and general education teacher who has dedicated his life to advocating for children with disabilities. After years of teaching in public schools and seeing the lack of resources available to families and children with special needs, Kevin decided to become a lawyer.
With Shields Law Firm, Kevin now serves children and families in special needs matters throughout Texas. As a former educator, Kevin understands the importance of fighting for increased inclusion time and resources for these kids. At staff meetings, he was often the dissenting voice calling out providers who missed sessions with his students; now, as an attorney, he continues this fight in courtrooms across the state.
