Jenson is a real estate attorney and the founding partner of E. Jenson Law. He concentrates his practice in real estate law, with a special focus on the areas of acquisitions and dispositions, evictions, foreclosures, building code compliance, and land use law.
Prior to founding E. Jenson Law, Jenson sharpened his skills as a advocate for his clients by practicing in many different areas of the law. He served as an attorney at a general civil litigation firm, as a judicial extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County for the Honorable Judge Michael R. Panter, as a law clerk and 711 attorney for the City of Chicagos Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection, as a research assistant for Professor Sandra Kupelian, as a law clerk at a personal injury firm, as a law clerk at an intellectual property firm, and as a law clerk at the Cook County States Attorneys Office.
While a law student at DePaul Law, Erik served as Vice President of the DePaul Moot Court Society and won several awards for his participation in moot court competitions, including Best Oralist at the Honorable William J. Bauer Moot Court Competition. He also received a CALI Award for his outstanding performance in Litigation Lab. Upon graduating from law school, Erik was inducted into the Order of Barristers for excellence in written and oral advocacy.
