• Mr. Reiter obtainedthe highest verdict for a single passengerin theEgyptAir 990crash ($3.6 millionincluding interest). This case was thefirst to award loss of society damagesto a victims sisters, brother and cousin as dependent relatives under the Death on the High Seas Act, in addition to awarding substantial damages to the victims parents.Mr. Reiter obtainedmillion dollar and/or multi-million dollar settlementsfor the survivors of14 persons killedin theAmerican Airlines Flight 587crash at Belle Harbor, New York, including residents of the United States and the Dominican Republic. He also served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Plaintiffs Steering Committee on that case. • Mr. Reiter obtained $5 million dollar verdict in medical malpractice case for failing to diagnose Chiari malformation,2019
• Mr. Reiter achieved a settlement of $15 million for the family of a young mother killed in an airline crash.,2014
• Mr. Reiter achieved a $22.97 million dollar verdict in Supreme Court Queens County in a medical malpractice case in which hospital personnel failed to timely diagnose and treat a patient with MRSA pneumonia in the ICU, resulting in a cardiac arrest from which the patient survived, although with brain damage.,2014
